Mission two

Hello. Well congratulations for successfully completing our first mission ab remaining with the sim throughout the fleet change which I can understand may have caused a split opinion, however without slagging 13th off, the fleet had died due to management issues and lack of regulation in my opinion. We should though bear in mind that if it weren't for them this sim would not exist.

Onwards and upwards we go. Those good with maths will notice that the mission 'ended' in 2408 not '09, this is because for our next mission that ship will be refitted to 25th century standards and so needs time for that to happen therefore mission two takes place eighteen months later, but fear not we're not just abandoning the change. Mission one wink remain open for two weeks for you all to continue posting in in addition to an optional sub mission chronciling those eighteen months.

Mission two will start next week, an email will be sent out alerting you to this and will feature an open plot which we will make use of this topic to discuss our ideas and direction to ensure our "make it up as we go along" plot is coherent. Comments and ideas welcome.

I wouldnt blame 13th fleet just because a certain CinC is too busy to take care of the sim and a certain Ascalon station XO for being an lazy, chronic idiot for not doing anything to keep the starbase active while the CO is busy, (You know Im talking to you, Jack...)

I would never blame Tom, because I understand his case being very busy, and if I do have a sim, I would open that to him if he ever wants to join...

So after being being transported into the future, 2408, we would have to wander about in eighteen months, right? Would that mean we will be docked in some docking station and we would use that time to wander around to get used to being in the future?

Jaylas certainly has a daughter she needs to meet, whose grown up without her.

Just an question, should we create a temporary second thread, call it pre-mission as it is between mission one and two? Might make it easier, and we can use that to post us docking into Earth's ship yards for a refit, full briefing and finish off with our posts saying 18 months later?

I just think it might make sense to do that and to avoid confusion, considering we are now twenty five years ahead

I think a pre-mission thread would be a good idea too. It would definately help our charries figure out whats going on and open up a huge space for farther character develoopment. I definately know what is gonna happen with mine already

Im bored and cant wait for the response to the briefing lol, so Im gonna just assume briefing is done and just post something after the briefing. You can just fill in, or whichever lol
