Personality & Traits
General Overview Sanaa is a happy, strong going woman. She can be tough when need be. However, she prefers to be somewhat passive and as kind as she can be to people.

Strengths & Weaknesses Sanaa is a kind and gentle person. However, in times she has a tough time being commanding which can make it difficult for people to follow her orders or take her seriously.

Ambitions To explore space and make a career out of the Federation.

Hobbies & Interests Sanaa enjoys playing the Verandan harp and singing, which she is very good at. She also is a fan of the arts. She paints and sculpts for her hobbies. She also likes to swim, ice skate, and study things of the outside world.

Personal History Sanna, whose name means "Beautiful Goddess of Love" or "A Work of Art Goddess of Love" origions from a planet tucked away in the midst of the Federation. She was raised in a colony which has kept it's self seculey locked away from outsiders.

They joined the Federation after an attack from a species unknown to the Verandar attacked their planet. They became protected under the Federation and have had little contact with them since joining.

Sanaa, having hearing stories of the Federation as a child, became curious about the Federation. And the more and more curious that she grew, the more she wanted to know about them. When she was fourteen, an away team from the Federation came down to speak with the leader of the colony. Against her mother's orders, she snuck out of the house and sought them out.

She told the man on the away team of her desires to leave her planet and join Starfleet. He left her with study materials and a communicator, which she tucked away and hid safely until she was old enough to leave her home.

Service Record When Sanaa joined the Federation, she was accepted into Starfleet Academy and studied Medical Science. She graduated at the top of her class with honors. Her first assignment was on the USS Ranger. Sanaa struggled with some urges that were brought to her by the genetics of her people. She had urges which, at her age she could not hold inside. Within six months, she was transferred.

Her second assignment, the USS Elysiaa, was a bit easier. She learned to control problems that her genetics caused with medication and meditation, and managed to survive on the Elassia until after she was a Lieutenant. However, the techniques she was given failed. And Sanaa again began to fight the battles and urges that her genetics had cursed her with. Thus, she decided that being a doctor in a busy sickbay was not a good idea and switched over to the Counseling department. When she did so, she requested a transfer.

Currently, she is serving as a Lt. Commander on board the USS Ark Royal as Chief Counselor.
